Cheat Gnome

I type the cheat gnome code in and a crate comes up on the beach but I type the codes and they don't come up on the gnome when I press ''X'' on it....please help...!

I had the same problem. Go away from the gnome and try again. If it doesn't help keep trying different things. I changed the sim too. Good luck!
