Last 5 Fish
I`ve been playing this game for a while now and my collection is up to 96% but in order to get the last 4% I need 5 more types of fish. Because I don`t have any names I numbered the fish on the collection map.
There are 5 pages of fish and each page contains 12 types of fish. I numbered them like this:

5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12
I need help on were to find the following fish.
Page 1 nrs 2,6 and 7
Page 2 nr 5
Page 3 nr 9
If anyone can tell me were and when to find these fish i`d be really gratefull.

Comment:(Jul 5 2008) @ Carol: I have aready found some more fish in the mean time. One of them is the jiackfish so that shouldn`t be a problem now, the other is 2-5(i`ll let you know if i find thatone)
As for the rest. 1-7 is a neon tetra you can find in the lake next to the farm. And it shows a crescent moon. `Didn`t know how i could see that so i just kept fishing every night.
2-3 Is a bat ray. You need to ga fishing from the rock in the ocean, also with the crescent moon.
Comment:(Jul 6 2008) Update: I`ve found that last fish now. It`s a sea chub and you can find it in the ocean with spearfishing in the sun. Look for a medium size purple fish. I`ts a bit hard to catch. Now i`m only still searching for that jackfish.

I'm at 98% and I'm still missing 3 fish - but I do have some answers for you regarding some of your missing fish.
Page 1 - fish 2...it's an eel. You need to pole fish off of the rock in the ocean at night time.
Page 1 - fish 6...it's a jackfish. You need to pole fish off the rock in the ocean at night time.
Page 1 - fish 7...I'm still looking for that one myself!
Page 2 - fish 5...I'm still looking for that one myself!
Page 3 - fish 9...it's a grunts. You need to spear fish at night time. I can't remember the location..but I'd try the small pond in the middle of the 1st island, or in the stream on the 3rd island (where Suzie is). Those areas tend to have some different fish.
The other fish I'm looking for is on Page 2, fish 3. Can you tell me how to get that one?

I just answered a similar question on another thread, errr... I tried to. Okay, what I noticed, after going after and after the same fish, is that they tend to show up if you go to the same place, at roughly the same time, for three nights/days in a row (definitely the same TIME of day). Once you catch ONE of the fish you are looking for, suddenly the same one keeps popping up again as though it were there all along. So again, try going to the same place at the same time of day/night for three consecutive days/nights.

I have all the fish except the jackfish.
Page 1 fish 7 - Neon tetra spear fish at night in the pond near the gardner.
Page 2 fish 3 - Bat ray pole fish at night in the ocean.
Page 2 fish 5 - Sea chub spear fish during the day in the ocean

kay ppl i have all the fish and the jackfish can be found by fishing(with a rod) in the shallow water, on a full moon or night time so that should solve your guys problems since none of you got it. Luck catching them, it takes a while, but if you keep going there for a few nights it will eventually show up!!

I've got a question of my own... Suck at fishing, and I need that stupid pufferfish. Anyone have some tips on the fishing and timing and stuff? I know where and when to find it, but I'm guessing you need to catch all the fish before the rare ones come out? Just like the bugs? Please post tips. Or is there like a cheat so I can skip the fishing part and just continue the game?

Pg 1, fish 6: Jackfish; Brown, Night in fresh water w/ fishing pole
Pg 1, fish 7: ?????
Pg 2, Fish 5: Sea Chub; Purple, Day in salt water w/ spear
Pg 3, Fish 9: Grunts; Yellow, Night in salt water w/ spear
The sea chub and the grunt are hard to catch because they swim back and forth in a weird pattern.
