2nd Metal Pole

I have been playing Sims Castaway for over a month now and for the last 2 weeks I have merely spent hours searching the island for a 2nd metal pole. I used the 1st one to make the crow bar (I know that was a mistake) and I can't get another. I have done everything I have been asked but I can't make the doctors curry without creating the fire pit and can't make the fire pit without getting the 2nd pole. I have read other questions who say the student will give you another but who is the student? Do you mean Suzy McDress? If so, I have completed her tasks and have got nothing from her. I have the option to play music with Suzy but when I do, no sound comes from me. Another question I have read said that all buttons need to be pressed at the same time but that doesn't work either. I am at a complete loss. If anyone has the answer can you please let me know? Thank you!



Comment:(Jun 18 2008) After writing this I checked the most recent questions and found my answer! When playing music with Suzy you need to blow into the mic to play, once you have done this, she gives you the 2nd metal pole!

you get the wood things by chopping down one of the coconut trees... there are so many pic one.. and you've got it.

you have to get a perfect score on the bug smashing thingy. then the rare bugs will come out. i dont know which rock has the jade bug.

You have to blow on the unit while playing the musical game when you complete the game she gives you the metal rod
