Nails!!

I received some nails early on in the game now I need them in order to create the instrument to play with Suzy. I see that they will wash up on the shore, but WHEN?!?!? I need more! I can't complete the fire pit for the chef until I doo this...please help! I have restarted this gaem three times now and each time it seems that I am wandering around for days waiting for nails, or watermelons to wash up. What should I do?

The sequence things wash ashore is not the same every time you start a new game so don't keep restarting or you'll never get anywhere. Nails only arrive in the crates that wash ashore so you just have to keep checking daily for them to get enough nails. You do know about hitting "X" to travel quickly between spots right? This allows you to check for the crate and also the parachutes on the beach quickly so you can collect faster.

You can also find nails if you have a shovel (idk if you do or not) and once you make that you can click on your sim and choose 'dig'. You can also get watermelon seeds from ms. Weeder if you've helped her with all her tasks.
