how to get mechanical skill
I'm on stuck on the 2nd island and I don't no to gained mech skill I have 10 logic 7 body 4 cooking 3 charisma 2 mechanical and 1 creativity plsssssssssss............. Help meeeeeeeeeeee

You can build your hut then your mechanical skills will go up.Or at the start when you choose your occupation for your person, if you be a mechanic you will get 3 mechanical points already done for you.

I use the craft bench but I understand this situation totally, I go to the craft bench and get no Mech point or the bar that says your full-filling that. Everything so far needs a mech skill point of 4, so I understand that. Also I think that stone axe is BS because I chopped some hard wood with my shell axe once and I have 2 hard wood, however it might not be BS because now when I go to the areas where hard wood are at I can't get them to turn up.

It took me ages to complete the whole game. But, if this helps, you have to build, create, repair things etc. That's how you raise your mechanical skill. So just create loads of stuff and your mechanical skill will rise. I hope this helps.
