Help with cheats!!!!!!!!

I've tried using the cheats but I can't unlock the cheat gnome. I know the cheat code but I can't get it to work.

For 1 here are the cheats

Cheat Gnome
R1, L1, Down, Square, R2

All motives
R2, Up, X, Square, L1.

All plans
X, Triangle, L2, Square, R1.

All crafting resources
Square, Triangle, Down, X, Left.

Maximum current food and resources
Left, Right, Square, R2, Square.

Maximum relationships
L1, Up, R2, Left, Triangle.

Add one to skill
Triangle, L1(2), Left, Triangle.

The cheat gnome when entered right makes a ding sound... Same with the other cheats... When you put in a cheat again it will make a sound kinda like stopping a record player, which means you have disactivated the cheat..
