Yes, that is the right key. I know that sometimes I have had to press it alot of times, before the 'extra' menu came up. If your blind, and need to remember, the ~ key is the the left part of the keyboard, right beside the number 1 key.

Yes it is the write key you're pressing to the left of the number 1 key maybe it's something int the controls enter option the controls and reset deffault
