Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Is there any way to store items that I don't want to carry around with me. I have lots of really expensive stuff and don't have room to carry things needed for basic quests.
PLEASE HELP ME!!

This is what I would do.

Buy a feather or great feather spell from somebody.

Now choose some piece of non-magical armor or non-magical weapon that you have equipped.

Have somebody enchant that item with the feather spell that you bought. Now when you have that item equipped your things will be as light as a feather. SPAZZ OUT MUFFINS

There is a better way to store items rather than spending money with feather spells and enchanting items. If you drop an item in morrowind it stays there forever unless you come back and pick it up. So theoratically you can just drop whatever stuff you don't want to carry and you can pcik it up later.

The only problem now is that you need to remember where you dropped each item. This means that you should drop all your items in a commonplace so that you always can retrieve them.

You can even place your items into containers but make sure that there are no NPC's around that area as if you try and retrieve these items in containers they will think that you are stealing and you will be reported.

All of the other answers are really great, but I still have one more way. Find a large house, I recomend one of the mansions in balmora, kill everyone in the house. Then you can sell everything in the house for a little gold at a time, but that adds up pretty quick. Also you will have a lot of containers open for use. You can set a mark spell there for when you get too many items, and you need to store them. Good luck!
