Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Anyone know what pupose(if any) the Meteor Slime serves?

You get it from Charles the Plant, which is located on the top of the shelf in Jobashas Rare Book Store, in Vivec.

I figured it's just a little thing Bethesda put in there, along with Lord Brine.

I don't know what it does but save the game then try equipting it and then quickley go on to your magic screen and look at the effects.
