You could try getting your disk resurfaced. If you don't know what that is, then ask at Gamestop. It doesn't cost much, though.
Your game is crashing most likely becuase the soft ware sucks. You could get it resurfaced til there's a 20 in thick film on it and it wouldn't matter. One way to solve this is to tamper with the memory storage and don't use any more cheat codes. If you continuously save repeatedly it will actually lower your memory storage. Around 50 blocks should be perfect to play without it crashing. But look at it this way if this happens to you... Your a hardcore gamer who just obliterated the game becuase it can't withstand the power of your skill.
