The Barcode Society

Thank you for printing this page from www.SuperCheats.com. Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Hitman: Absolution

Last Updated:

The Barcode Society can be thought of as a combination of a social club and game-connected status tracking system that connects to both the Hitman: Sniper Challenge and Hitman: Absolution, sort of bridging the gap between them. Access to the Barcode Society resources, which includes both the ICA Website and some of the Hitman: Absolution online web-based resources requires that you join (sign up) online – a process that can be accomplished either by doing the regular join bit or using your Facebook Creds.

Once yo have signed up for your account and put in the nickname and password that you want to use, you still need to fill in what they call the “Account Connections” in order to completely link all of the related assets to the ICA Servers. Basically that means linking your Xbox LIVE ID (Gamertag), for an account that is part of the Square Enix Network. If you already have an existing account you are best off using that for this, just saying...

Once you set up the account and link your Gamertag, PSN ID, or Steam ID (depending on what platform you are playing both the Sniper Challenge AND Absolution on) you should be good to go!

Game Stats and Progress Data

Among the game stats that the ICA Servers track includes your overall game progress, your current assets (including how much money is in your in-game account), and perhaps more important than that, the following sub-sections of progress and data covering what you have unlocked and the progress in expanding each, including:

Safe House > Signature Weapons

Safe House > Standard Weapons

Safe House > Disguises

Safe House > Techniques

Story Mode Progress

Contracts Mode Progress

Challenge Progress

Play Style Progress

Character Statistics

While you can obviously obtain the same information in the game as you can from the servers at the ICA and Absolution sites, the point to this is you can check in on your progress and stats via any web browser, any time you want, and hey, that is cool!

In addition to the very detailed statistical information that you can access on the ICA / Barcode Society website, you also have access to the following sub-sections:

Agency Services: Launch Trailers, Easter Eggs, Artwork, Wallpaper, and Themes for Hitman: Absolution, Blood Money, Contracts, Hitman 2, and Codename: 47!

Press Room: Access to all of the latest Press Releases and other information about the games.

Community Outreach: Access to official and unofficial forums for the games, YouTube and Facebook pages, and the official Hitman Twitter Feed as well as user-contributed resources including artwork and the like. Included as a special feature is a professionally produced Fansite Kit in case you feel the urge to create your own site or pages that celebrate the awesomeness that is Agent 47!

Access to these resources (and more) can be had by pointing your browser at:

When you are ready to seriously delve in to unlocking every aspect of the mini-game and game these can be valuable resources, but bear in mind that this guide and walkthrough happens to provide you with all of the detailed information you need to master both!
