A party can't survive long without a white mage in tow. White mages provide the much needed healing, recovery, and support magic in every battle. They're skilled in invoking white magic up to LV.6 and favors staves.

Specialty: Self-healing

Recover from poison, blind, and silence at the end of battle.

Red Abilities = These are activated after selecting them in the Abilities menu during a battle

Blue Abilities = These are support abilities that will only take effect after assigning them to a character. If you change to a job whose specialty is the same as the support ability you equipped, it will be removed automatically.

Ability	Level	Effect
White Magic Lv.1	1	Enables the use of level 1 white magic: Cure, Poisona, and Blinda. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
M.Def 10% Up	2	Raise magic defense by 10%
White Magic Lv.2	3	Enables the use of level 2 white magic: Protect, Shell, and Aero. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Staff Lore	4	Raises arms aptitude for staves to S.
Self-healing	5	Recover from poison, blind, and silence at the end of the battle.
White Magic Lv.3	6	Enables the use of level 3 white magic: Cura, Raise, and Esuna. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Abate Water	7	Reduce damage taken from water attacks. You will not receive further damage reduction if this ability is used along with items with similar effects. Water nullification effects take precedence over reduction effects.
Angelic Ward	8	Has a 50% chance to halve the damage received, regardless of whether it is a single-target or multiple-target attack. This effect doesn't apply to damage from poison.
White Magic Lv.4	9	Enables the use of level 4 white magic: Reflect, Dispel, and Aerora. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
M.Def 30% Up	10	Raise magic defense by 30%
White Magic Lv.5	11	Enables the use of level 5 white magic: Esunaga, Curada, and Aeroga. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Epic Group-Cast	12	The damage dealt and the amount of recovery do not decline when group-casting magic. This effect can also be invoked from the menu screen.
White Magic Lv.6	13	Enables the use of level 6 white magic: Curaga, Arise, and Holy. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Conservation of Life	14	Bring back all allies from K.O. and restore all their HP when you suffer K.O. If multiple characters have this support ability, the effect occurs only once per battle for each of them. It will also trigger even when everyone suffers K.O. at the same time.
