Spell Fencers are warriors that imbue magic to their weapons. They favor swords and can add elemental attacks or status ailments to their weapons.

Specialty: Anti-Magic
Raise Magic Defense by 50% for 4 turns when hit by a magic attack.
Job Command: Sword Magic

Abilities

Legend

Red Abilities = These are activated after selecting them in the Abilities menu during a battle

Blue Abilities = These are support abilities that will only take effect after assigning them to a character. If you change to a job whose specialty is the same as the support ability you equipped, it will be removed automatically.

Ability Level Effect
Sword Magic LV.1 1 Enables the use of LV.1 sword magic: Fire, Blizzard, Thunder. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Sword Magic LV.2 2 Enables the use of LV.2 sword magic: Silence, Poison, and Sleep. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Firewall 3 Has 50% chance of counterattacking with fire damage when hit with a single-target physical attack.
Sword Magic LV.3 4 Enables the use of LV.3 sword magic: Fira, Blizzara, and Thundara. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Auto-aspir Mode 5 Imbue a weapon with an MP Absorb effect for 10 turns, starting at the beginning of the battle. This can be overwritten by other sword magic.
Magic Armor 6 When using elemental sword magic, damage from the same element is reduced for 4 turns.
Sword Magic LV.4 7 Enables the use of LV.4 sword magic: Drain, Aspir, and Fear. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Memento 8 Restore 50% MP for all allies except yourself when you suffer K.O. However, all allies in the K.O. state does not recover MP. Except during Bravely Second, the upper level for MP Restoration is 999.
Sword Magic LV.5 9 Enables the use of LV.5 sword magic: Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
Anti-Magic 10 Raise magic defense by 50% for 4 turns when hit by a magic attack. Upper limit for M.Def is 150%.
Sword Magic Amp 11 The MP cost of sword magic is doubled but deal x1.25 damage to a target while this ability is in effect, no matter what sword magic is used.
Sword Magic LV.6 12 Enables the use of LV.6 sword magic: Holy, Dark, and Death. You must have purchased the necessary scrolls to use these.
M.Def Specialize 13 Lower P.Def by 25% and raise M.Def by 50%.
Phantom Weapon 14 The damage from the currently equipped weapon is added to the damage of magic attacks.
