This next group is going to be a problem. Barbarossa, Barras and Alternis – all physical damage powerhouses. Add Praline in the group and you’ll have an even bigger problem. You have to modify your support abilities. Absorb Physical Damage and Angelic Ward is a must in this battle. If you have access to Rise from the Dead (Vampire JLV14) and See You in Hell (Dark Knight JLV5), they might be a good addition as well. Your healers should have Shield Lore and have them equip shields to give them extra protection.
A Swordmaster tank and a Ninja will be your main attackers here. Like the other battles, a Spiritmaster with White Mage job command is a good choice for having effective heals and a Performer/Salve-Maker that will act as a backup healer and support. The swordmaster/piracy combination is perfect for this battle. You can use Piracy’s Provoke to get the agro then Bushido’s Nothing Ventured to reduce the incoming damage and counterattack. There are no magic attacks coming in from these enemies so you can focus on handling the physical attacks. You have to keep on the defensive here while your backup attacker slowly but surely chips away the life of your priority targets. Your performer’s job is to keep you buffed to mitigate Barbarossa’s debuffs and even give you free BPs whenever needed.
Take out Praline first to stop the buffs and prevent her from giving free BPs to her allies by using My Hero. Remove the stacked BPs with your own Performer/ singing job command’s Zero Sum. After taking her out, concentrate your attacks on Barbarossa next. Leave Alternis for last since you don’t want him to keep knocking out your characters with Minus Strike. Other than that, you can block off his Black and Dark Bane attacks with the Dark Shield equipped. Alternis has the lowest HP so it is also possible that he will be defeated quicker with your continuous use of counterattacks. Barras isn’t really a threat on his own.
