Final Smash
Mega Lucario
Lucario transforms to a Mega Lucario. Mega Lucario doesn't flinch from enemy attacks. His aura-based moves like Aura Sphere, Force Palm, and Extreme Speed are greatly enhanced. You have to be careful with Extreme Speed since this form makes the move a lot faster and it covers a whole lot of ground.
Recovery
Lucario's main recovery is Extreme Speed which allows him to cover a lot of ground. You can also control the direction where Lucario will be blasted off. Take note that you'll enter Fall state after using the move so if you jumped off the stage, there's no way for you to recover anymore. The distance covered by this recovery move is further improved in Lucario's Mega Evolved form.
Lucario's default jump height is already higher than most characters. What's more is that he can cling to the side of stages. He can't cling on the wall forever however; he'll let go after a few seconds. However, it is long enough to time your jump past any edge-guarding opponents. Lucario can also use Extreme Speed as a horizontal recovery but his normal double-jump can already cover a lot of ground.
Lucario's unique trait is his Aura. The more damage he takes, the greater his Aura will become. This affects his aura-based moves like Aura Sphere, Force Palm, and Extreme Speed. Aura Sphere for example becomes stronger and larger. His Aura is a risk-reward system. As Lucario fights a losing battle, his chance to turn the battle to his favor increases as well.
Aura Sphere can be used to release quick projectiles to harass enemies. It can be charged rather quickly and any nearby enemy can get damaged while it is charging. At the same time, any opponent with his/her shield up will find it worn down quickly by the charging range's multiple hits. Once charged, you can move to store the energy and release it on the next press of the Special button. Force Palm is another good move in Lucario's arsenal that gives him extended range. If an opponent is caught up close, Lucario will grab the opponent first before blasting him/her away with his Force Palm.
