Walkthrough: After defeating the next of the Broodals, Mario will be transported back to the Odyssey. After he is, the entire pyramid will rise into the air, leaving behind a hole underneath it. You can reach the hole by heading through the desert that now has mummies roaming throughout, or you can use the Spark Pylons to get over to the ruins. You can even ride upon Jaxi for a mere 30 Coins. Either way, make your way through the ruins to the hole, and jump right on inside.
At the bottom of the hole, you'll find yourself in a massive area that has a number of icy platforms hanging over an abyss. Carefully head along the ice to the stone blockade, throwing Cappy as you do towards another of the shock wave devices in order to explode the blocks. Once on the other side of the blocks, you can do the same thing with Cappy to obtain more Purple Coins.
From there, head to the left to come to a long curving icy platform, one full of Goombas. Use Cappy to capture and control the tower of Goombas, adding to it with other Goombas to reach the nearby Power Moon up high. After obtaining it, you can also turn back to Mario and get a large amount of Coins in the far corner. These coins are apart of a chain-reaction, but they result in an never-Ending loop of shock waves that will cause massive damage to Mario. If you think it's worth the trouble, go for the coins. Otherwise, head to the moving platforms ahead and make your way across them. If you're willing to risk it, hop onto to the platforms with your stack of Goombas to reach more floating Purple Coins.
After making your way across, leave the Goombas behind and use the flower to spring to the next platform. From there, another Bullet Bill launcher will be triggering more shock waves. To avoid these blasts, lure a Bullet Bill to the side and then capture one. You can use Bullet Bill to head to the right and find a platform, one that will lead you to another Power Moon. Otherwise, head to the middle platform. Once there, wait for another Bullet Bill to come and capture it with Cappy, allowing you to navigate along the pillars to reach a large looming door.
Once through the door, head just past the pedestal with the slot and move to the far end. An area will lie just below this point, so use Cappy to control another Bullet Bill to get across. After you do, you will come to creature known as Knucklotec. Knucklotec is very displeased, apparently someone stole a ring that is very precious to it. Eventually, Knucklotec concludes that someone might actually be Mario, and, thinking this way, thus begins to attack.
