Broodal Fight #5

Walkthrough: In the Snowy Mountain Area, Mario will need to scale the entire mountain as he travels through the snowdrifts. Make sure to wipe away all the snow as you travel, especially over the bridge that contains many glowing spots that reveal Coins when ground-pounded upon. Head up the path until you come to another peg, having Cappy remove it to release another gust of wind to send Mario to a higher platform. While on said platform, search along the wall for some Purple Coins.

From there, get rid of the snowdrifts to make a passage to the flower. This flower will allow you to float down to yet another cyclone, and then use Cappy to create another gust to reach the top of the mountain. However, before using the flower to get to the top of Snowy Mountain, make sure to to search behind that last peg and create a path to another Power Moon.

As you reach the summit of Snowy Mountain, the Broodal Group will reappear, this time having stole the Frost-Frosted Cake. Once again, Mario will be pitted against the tallest of the Broodals in another brawl; however, he'll have a few new tricks this time around. He'll begin by throwing multiple versions of his hat, and since this fight will be on icy ground, it will be difficult to dodge them. Avoid them the best you can, using Cappy to hit one of them in order to turn it into a flower. From there, use the flower to leap high in the air and landing on the Broodal's head.

Like before, he'll retreat into his bladed hat and jump around hoping to strike you. Avoid him until he stops, beginning the next phase of the battle. In this phase, he'll continue to throw more hats at Mario, this time with more arc and spin. He will throw clockwise, so always run to the right and use Cappy to stop them before they even begin to arc. Do the same as before and turn his hat into a flower, leaping on his head and then avoiding his hat after he jumps within it. In the third and final phase of the match, he alternate between straight tosses and arcing throws. Do the same as before, landing one last blow to his head to win the battle. Defeating him will earn you the final Power Moon to remove the barrier around the race track.
