Torkdrift Battle

Walkthrough: After destroying the sphere-launching device, head up the small path to the next entrance to the Secret Flower Field, jumping into the shaft as you do. Once in the field, you will find a machine that is sucking up all the flowers of the field. Quickly find the lone Uproot in the field and capture it with Cappy, using it to get under the machine, known as Torkdrift, and lift it up in order to cause some damage. After you do, Torkdrift will launch out three separate glowing orbs that will be housed within bricks. It will be up to you as the Uproot to extend upward and break the blocks to strike the orbs found within.

As you do this, Torkdrift will begin targeting the ground with a blue circle, one that's actually the aim for its ensuing laser beam. Keep moving as it does this, dodge right as the circle stops and begins to turn red. Once you demolish all three orbs, Torkdrift will become stunned and turn upside down. As it does, it will reveal an exposed dome you can lift up into with Uproot to cause more damage. Doing so will cause it to right itself, using the the laser at the bottom to create shock wave circles. Lift up Uproot to hop over them in succession, but watch out for the final shock wave that will extend much higher than the rest.

The next phase will begin just like the first, but this time, the orbs will have even more blocks that will surround them. Torkdrift will also spin the orbs around, while still firing lasers at Uproot Mario. Get in front of the orbs and lunch Uproot upward to chip away at the blocks protecting them, or get centered perfectly in the middle to hit the orb straight on. Once the orbs are destroyed again, repeat the process of attacking the hidden dome underneath Torkdrift, and then jump the ensuing shock waves.

In the final phase of the battle, Torkdrift will move and fire much faster, and the orbs will be in much thicker barriers. Do the same as before, avoiding Torkdrift's lasers as you slowly chip away at the barriers to destroy the orbs. After you do, hit Torkdrift's hidden dome one final time to end the battle once and for all. With Torkdrift destroyed and the flowers returned to the field, you will receive a Multi Moon for your efforts. This will conclude all of your objectives in Wooded Kingdom.

If you're still lacking enough Power Moons to leave this kingdom, start exploring a little harder to get the necessary number of Power Moons to leave. You will need exactly 16 Power Moons to head off to the next kingdom, and since there are 54 Power Moons available during the Main Story, it shouldn't take much effort to reach that number. Simply take your time, you'll get there. If you chose to do Wooded Kingdom before Lake Kingdom, you will head off to Lake Kingdom next. If you've already completed both of these Kingdoms you will head off for a short stop in Cloud Kingdom.
