Registering friends let you earn Perk Points to be used to purchase Perks. These are permanent combat bonuses applied to your character. You'll earn one Perk Point after reaching the required number of friends. You can only select a limited number of perks so carefully choose the ones that will benefit you the most. This will usually depend on your playing style and sometimes, the created character's class.

You can register a total of 121 friends but only 120 will be displayed. This is because Clyde, who you can register at the start of the game will unfriend you as the game progresses. Some friends can be added by simply talking to them while others can be unlocked after completing various quests and sidequests. Some friends are also missable since the only time you can register them is limited only during a specific quest. Missable friends will be listed in red font so take note of their locations and their requirements for registering them.

Al Gore

You can find him hiding behind a tree beside the cinema.

Allie Nelson

After completing the quest "Recruit the Girls", talk to her while you're inside the Sparkle Chamber. She's sitting to the upper left part of the room.

Amber

Found stuck on a tunnel west of Mr. Hankey’s home.

Big Gay Al

While exploring Mr. Slave's intestine in the quest “Beat Up Clyde”, you'll find a smartphone along the way. When it rings, answer it by pressing the main button to register Big Gay Al to your friends list. Failing to answer this will miss your chance in registering him as friend. You have to load the checkpoint save to go around this.

Bill

Found along the corridor on the second floor. Help them during the quest “Attack the School”

Billy

Complete “Hide n' Seek” sidequest

Bishop of Banff

After defeating him in battle, he'll ask you to spare his life during the quest “O Canada”. Comply and he'll be added as your friend. Kill him and you won’t be able to get his friend request.

Bradley

He's hiding in the bushes west of Kyle's house. You have to shrink your size and enter through the small hole in the bushes.

Butters

Your very first friend. You’ll meet him as soon as you leave your house.

Cartman

If you sided with the humans, you'll register him as friend during the quest "Attack the School". Otherwise, he'll be added as a friend after an alliance has been formed between the two factions.

Catatafish

Disarm the snuke inside Mr. Slave's *** in the quest “Beat Up Clyde”.

Chinpokomon Toy Corporation

Automatically added after collecting all chinpokomons. There are missable chinpokomons so if you failed to complete the set, you won't be able to add this to your friend list. Refer to the Chinpokomon page to learn the individual locations of each chinpokomons.

Christmas Critters

Beary, Rabbity, Skunky, Beavery, Mousey, Squirrely, Deery, Woodpeckery, Porcupiney, Foxy, Chickadee-y &Raccoony

Go the Lost Forest and follow these directions: right, up, right, down, right to find them. Accept your lord savior to add them.

Chris Donnely

After the two factions have joined forces, talk to him again in the Elven Kingdom.

Clyde

Talk to him as soon as you’re inside Kupa Keep. If you fail to befriend him during this time, you may not be able to befriend him anymore as the story progresses.

Craig

Complete “Detention Sentence” quest

Cornwalis

Rescue him from the hobos in the sidequest “Dropping the Kids Off”

Crab Person

Go to the cavern under the town and break down the rock covering the path leading to him using Nagasaki.

Dad

Talk to him once you've acquired at least 50 friends.

Damien

Talk to him inside the cinema.

DogPoo

Complete the sidequest “Restoring the Balance”

Dougie

He’s hanging outside Butters' house. You can register him as a friend very early in the game. He will disappear from his spot as you progress in the story.

Douglas

He is hidden in the second floor of the building next to Photo Dojo. Shoot the cracked window on the second floor to reveal the alien device. Teleport yourself on the second floor to find Douglas.

Duke of Vancouver

After receiving a letter from the Princess of Canada, head to Vancouver and simply talk to him.

Earl of Winnipeg

While doing the quest “O Canada”, he'll order you to slay three dire bears in Winnipeg. Report to him once this task is done.

Esther

First, find the Newsroom Key inside the Post Office. Enter the Newsroom and talk to the girl sitting on the chair.

Father Maxi

Complete “Find Jesus” sidequest

Complete “Hide n' Seek” sidequest

Found along the corridor on the second floor with Bill. Help them during the quest “Attack the School”

He's found building a snowman right next to the Broflovski residence. Destroy the snowman to register him as friend.

Frog King

Successfully disarm the snuke inside Mr. Slave's *** in the quest “Beat Up Clyde”.

General Disarray

He's found inside Professor Chaos' Lair. This is a storage shed in U-Stor-It. First, you need to get the Chaos Lair Key from Butters' room. During your first visit to U-Stor-It, the gate will be closed. To get inside, hit the ladder above the dumpster beside the hobo/street merchant the climb on the advertisement board. Once inside, head north then east and open the storage door to the far side.

Heidi

After completing the quest "Recruit the Girls", talk to her while you're inside the Sparkle Chamber. She's standing on the right side of the room.

Henrietta

Complete the main story quest “Nonconformist”

Ike

During the quest “Beat Up Clyde”, you'll reach the part where you have to turn the wheels on the two towers. As soon as you start this section, Ike will get hit by an enemy cyclops. Blow him up by farting on the firecracker Ike lit up. Doing this will knock him down and make Ike your new friend.

Jason

Her runs the Elvenwares shop in the Elven Kingdom. Talk to him as soon as you enter this area.

Jenny

Complete “Hide n' Seek” sidequest

Jessie

After completing the quest "Recruit the Girls", talk to her while you're inside the Sparkle Chamber. She's located beside the chest to the left.

On the rooftop of the newsroom. You have to enter the vent to the right side of the room in gnome size. (You'll pick up the Accountafish Chinpokomon along the way) then climb up the pipe
