Gems are the premium currency in Shining Beyond that are mainly used for hero summoning, as well as other beneficial actions like instantly collecting Idle Rewards, forging SSR tickets, refreshing Wishing Altar boards, purchasing rare goods, etc. While the easiest way to obtain free gems is through microtransactions, F2P (free-to-play) players shouldn’t worry about missing out on gem acquisition since the game is generous enough to provide free gems as long as you work hard for it. In this page, we’ll discuss how to obtain free gems without spending anything.
These are special codes provided by the Shining Beyond developers, XII Braves to players as a give away. For each campaign stage, there are three trials like clearing the stage earlier than the allotted time, not letting any hero get KO’ed, defeat the boss, etc. Clearing a trial unlocks a star for that stage. If you cleared all trials, you’ll be able to fully clear a stage by getting it to 3-stars.
Now if you open the map, you’ll see three chests on the lower-left corner. These bonus chests can be opened after earning enough stars for a stage. You can collect gems for every 10, 20, and 30 stars you’ve earned from completing the current chapter’s stages. You can earn even more gems on the world map by collecting at least 120 stars.
These are tasks that you can complete by simply playing the game. You have repeatable quests like the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tasks. You can also earn additional gems by reaching the milestones of the All Time, Event, and Guide quest categories.
Each hero has his/her own set of weekly and limited quests. The weekly quests will allow you to collect shards or copies of the hero’s weapon but while the limited quests will allow you to collect 50 and 200 gems from a single hero by promoting him/her to 4-star and 6-star respectively.
You can access the Training Chapter by tapping the Archive button on the left side of the main screen. Simply launch the tutorial that’s available, follow the onscreen instructions, and claim your 50 gems per tutorial completed.
