Aside from the four main hero classes, Shining Beyond offers additional specializations for each class in the form of Jobs. Once a hero takes on a job, she’ll get an additional set of skills that further increases their potency on the field. In this page, we’ll cover the game’s Job system and how you can take advantage of this feature.

Jobs allow heroes to further increase their potential by getting new potent passive skills and stat boosts. The overview of the job tree is shown below. As you can see, there are jobs that can be shared by two hero classes. For example, an Acolyte or Archer can become Mages, and a Warrior or Rogue can become a Zealot. 2nd-tier jobs each have an exclusive 3rd-tier while also sharing the other 3rd-tier jobs with other classes. For example, only a Crusader can become a Defender while either Crusader or Cleric can turn into a Paladin.

Before you can move on to the next job, you’ll need to meet the next job’s requirement. For example, to become a mage, an acolyte or archer should reach Job LV4. To Level Up a job, you’ll need job relics. You can obtain this by clearing the specific dungeon on a rotating schedule (see below). Some job levels will require higher-grade relics so you can transmute lower-grade relics to the next grade at the ratio of 3:1. At the same time, you can use the Break function to convert a higher-grade relic to the lower-grade one at a ratio of 1:2.

Once you have enough relics, you can pay the required amount of gold to Level Up the job. This will level up the displayed skills and the hero will get bonus stats as well.

Once you reach a job's max level, it will be come Mastered, which in turn, will unlock a Master Skill that will apply to the hero permanently, regardless of the jobs he/she takes. In the example below, my hero Athena has maxed out the Warrior level thus becoming a Master Warrior. This unlocks the Master Skill, Fortitude. Since she already has the said skill, the Master Skill is stacked instead, providing permanent bonuses for her as she goes down the warrior's path.

That concludes our quick guide about the Job system of Shining Beyond. Please check out our other individual guide pages for this game, especially our pages for the different jobs in the game, as well as the highest rated heroes and the Tier List for other hero classes. Thanks for reading!
