In Shining Beyond, players will get a chance to get acquainted to a lot of different characters. While choosing your favorite characters and building a team around them is the ideal way to enjoy the game, there will always be players who’ll want to get the best characters on their teams, either to breeze through the game’s single-player content or dominate the arena. These top-tier characters are also the target of certain players who Re-roll in the game. In this page, we’ll discuss the top Acolyte class heroes in the game. Please check out our dedicated Tier List pages for other classes.

Acolytes are the mages and healers of the game, capable of dishing out splash and AoE damage. However, they have the slowest attack speed among all hero classes in the game. All Acolytes have access to the passive skill Holy Smite which heals a small amount of their HP whenever they attack. At skill LV5, this passive gets a 2nd effect (Skill DEF Up) which gives a permanent skill def boost to the acolyte.

Shining Beyond has a lot of characters in the roster so for your convenience, we will just cover the top tier heroes in the game and will cover them in individual pages. Please check out our page for the Hero Rating system.

Emma (UR)

Emma is one of the top-tier characters in the game, securing top 3 in the overall highest rated heroes in the Hero Rating system, only dropping down at Rank 5 for Arena battles. Nevertheless, this UR hero proves her worth and what she can bring to the table for your team. Her first skill, Armageddon, fires off 5 magic missiles that deal damage based on ATK. The skill’s second effect is the Life Mark effect that is applied to the target. For the duration of the affect, all allies attacking the target will get healed by a percentage of the damage they’ve dealt. At Skill LV6, this skill gains a third effect which reduces the target’s ATK by a certain amount.

The second skill, Bloodcurdling, is somewhat lackluster at the beginner since it can only trigger a Fear effect to enemies but at skill LV6, the 2nd effect Vulnerable is added. This increases the damage taken by the affected enemy by a certain rate.

Unlike most characters, Emma has three masteries: Adventure, Event, and Demon. All masteries reduce the damage taken by the team against enemies on specific battle modes and enemies, while also increasing the team’s damage against them.

Theia (SSR)

Theia is a great acolyte to have, with reliable attack and healing skills. Her first skill, Atlas Lightbringer, casts a lightning that damages enemies based on her ATK and can bounce up to 3 different targets. All enemies hit by the attack will also get their attack speed reduced by at least 50%. Her second skill, Mirror Force, deploys a healing shield, protecting herself or an ally while also healing at least 90% of the damage received per hit. Additionally, at skill LV 6, Mirror Force gains the 2nd effect called Thorns. This reflects a portion of the damage dealt to the attacker.

Theia has access to two masteries: Tower and Dragon. All masteries reduce the damage taken by the team against enemies on specific battle modes and enemies, while also increasing the team’s damage against them.

Emilia (SSR)

Emilia is also another potent healer that you can put in your party. Her first skill Breath of Callisto, creates a protective shield to an ally while also freezing random enemies. At Skill LV6, this skill gains a third effect that launches 3 magic missiles to random enemies. The second skill, Write of Exaltation, is a potent healing skill that she can use on herself or an ally, which recovers at least 50% of the hero’s HP. At Skill LV6, this skill gains a Renew effect that removes Greater Impair status effects.

Emilia has access to two masteries: Guild Raid and Demon. All masteries reduce the damage taken by the team against enemies on specific battle modes and enemies, while also increasing the team’s damage against them.

Coco (SSR)

Coco is yet another wonderful acolyte who can keep your team alive with healing and several buffs. Her first skill, Vitamin Pack, starts with two effects: a Direct Damage that deals at least twice her ATK value while also healing herself or an ally. At Skill LV6, this skill gains a third effect that increases her or an ally’s ATK. Her second skill, Blood Thirst, allows her to leech a portion of the damage she dealt. At SL6, this skill will create a shield that can absorb damage, scaling up a portion of Coco’s HP as an additional effect.

Coco has access to two masteries: Tower and Elemental. All masteries reduce the damage taken by the team against enemies on specific battle modes and enemies, while also increasing the team’s damage against them.

Beretta (SSR)

Even if she doesn’t have burst healing available, Beretta’s utility can be quite useful in the battlefield. She can apply a good amount of debuffs on enemies while having access to a regeneration skill. Her first skill, Royal Dominion, can stun an enemy while also reducing the healing it can receive. At SL6, this skill can also reduce the DEF of the target. Her second skill, Beacon of Rejuvenation, is her only healing skill and will only heal a percentage of a hero’s HP over time. However, once she reaches SL6 or higher, this regen effect becomes even more potent with the HP Recovery Up boost as its second effect, even if the healing boost expires quicker than the actual regen effect.

Beretta has access to two masteries: Arena and Demon. All masteries reduce the damage taken by the team against enemies on specific battle modes and enemies, while also increasing the team’s damage against them.
