Version Differences
The only major difference between the two versions are the "version-exclusive" Pokemons. Below is a complete list of all Pokemons exclusive each version of the game.

to git a shiny pokemond is rare its a 1/2000 chance and u need to beat the eleat 4
I wanted Slowpoke but it's only in Pearl version! *SIGHS* Thats why I Saved King's Rock from Pokemon Ruby...AAAGHHGGH....
I agree Diamond has some better Pokemon, but Pearl has Salemence, whom is awesome in the highest factor.

both are good but f you have sapphire,ruby,or emerald it gets easier

My Fav will be Diamond.
diamond version has so muck better pokemon than pearl
