Hidden Machines
Unlike TMs, HMs are reusable, meaning they don't disappear after a Pokemon has learned the move contained within. So you can teach the same HM move to another Pokemon. The thing is, once an HM move is learned, it cannot be forgotten.
The only way you can delete an HM move is to go to Canalave City and talk to the person inside the house located above the Poke Mart. The "Usable After" entry in the list below indicates when the HM move can be used outside of battle.

Hidden Machine : HM01 Cut
Location : Receive from Cynthia at Eterna City.
Usable After : Obtain the Forest Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM02 Fly
Location : Team Galactic Warehouse in Veilstone City. Go inside after
retrieving Lucas' Pokedex from the two Galactic Grunts.
Usable After : Obtain the Cobble Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM03 Surf
Location : Receive from Cynthia's granny in Celestic Town after
checking the cave.
Usable After : Obtain the Relic Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM04 Strength
Location : Speak to one of the old ladies at the top of Lost Tower.
Usable After : Obtain the Mine Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM05 Defog
Location : Speak to one of the people in Pastoria Great Marsh Area 6.

Usable After : Obtain the Fen Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM06 Rock Smash
Location : Receive from a hiker the moment you enter Oreburgh Gate.
Usable After : Obtain the Coal Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM07 Waterfall
Location : Receive from Jasmine, who is at the beach north of
Sunyshore City after you obtain the Beacon Badge.
Usable After : Obtain the Beacon Badge.

Hidden Machine : HM08 Rock Climb
Location : Outside one of the houses along the right of Route 217.
Usable After : Obtain the Icicle Badge.
