Water, Grass And Fighting Type Pokemon Should Do.
how do you recommend catching Mespirit?
Ibeat roack just using chimchar level9 and ember and mach punch
Using any grass or water type move should do alot of damage. The higher level the pokemon, the more damage the moves will do. Having Monferno as the starting pokemon is a good idea, because there aren't alot of fire types in diamond.
i used razor leaf on each of roarks pokemon and they fainted as soon as i used it.then my pokemon evolved.
to beat roark use water types or grass types for all his pokemon

I cannt find the gym is it in TwiLeaf town because i cant find the pokemon
I beat Roark with a Monferno level 15, by just using Mach punch as a fighting type is super effective against rock types
I beat Roark with a Monferno who was about a level 15/16. I used mainly Mach Punch and Ember.
Using a Budew is easiest, megadrain once for each of the gym leaders pokemon =D has to be a LV15 Budew though to get megadrain
Machop works well when trained good.Ussally sends out Geodude first,than a onix if you use a Chimchar,or a Cranidos if you use a Machop, finishing of w/ other.
Roark has a Onix, Geodude and a Cranidos.
They are average LV13.
