Paralogue 9: Saizo vs Saizo

Available: Saizo marries another character

Recruitable character: Asugi

This is a closed-map with several dragon veins that will allow you to destroy walls and create shortcuts. Asugi will move on his own and will attempt to escape the map. Your main objective is to defeat Funke, the boss located in the NW corner of the map before Asugi escapes. This boss can be captured so bring Orochi if you want to.

Use the pillars to gain terrain advantage and have your powerful units go on independent ways to cover more ground and to defeat as many enemies as possible. As you move to the second dragon vein, the enemies in the SW room will open the door and attempt to flank you. Keep pressing forward, only engage those enemies who come within your attack range or blocking your progress. Additional enemy reinforcements may also appear from the stairs in the map. Don't get discouraged if you see your group get surrounded by enemies. Your main objective is to defeat/Capture Funke; once that's done, the battle will end immediately and you'll be able to recruit Asugi.
