Your avatar will be locked down in an isolated space with Ryoma. The remaining Hoshidan forces will be lead by Kagero and Saizo. There are two chests on both sides so bring at least two characters with Locktouch. The chest to the west contains Silence and the other one has 10000g.
Once you start the fight, you'll get the prompt that Ryoma will wait for 25 turns (which is already long enough for you to divide and conquer) and that the path to the throne room will open after defeating Saizo or Kagero. Divide your forces to two since you'll be able to bring more units now. Keep at least two healers with your forces since the ninjas have Poison Strike which deals damage at the end of their attack. It will be beneficial for your healers to get a Bloom and/or Sun Festal (Hoshidan staves) by buying it from other players' castles since gives your healers a safe distance to heal and not get targeted by 2-space ranged attacks. There will be no reinforcements that will appear in this map so you can rest easy and just push your way through the last line of defense.
There are a lot of bottlenecks in this map so make sure to have your tanks lead the way. Break down walls if you need to so you can spread your forces. Defeating Kagero or Saizo will open the rear screens leading to the dueling chamber where Ryoma and the Avatar is located. There's also a lone Dragon Vein there that will turn the healing tile to -Avo penalty tiles. This is important since Ryoma has high Avo and the healing tiles will just give him advantage.
Once you've cleared the area, move your forces to the newly opened screen and activate the dragon vein. You may start attacking Ryoma after that. If you're still at a disadvantage, try ganging up on him to finish him off.
