Chapter 16C: White Flames

Before the battle starts, Ryoma, Hinoka, Scarlet, Azama, and Setsuna will join your party. They'll be located to the north as a separate group that you can control. The dragon veins in the map can be activated to either make the flames erupt or die down. The movement of all units can be manipulated by choosing what flamewall is activated/deactivated. Use this to your advantage. Even when a flamewall is active, units with ranged attacks can still target enemies from the other side of the flames.

The flamewalls will also fire up and die down automatically almost each turn so don’t let your units stray too far from their groups since they may get trapped or surrounded helplessly when the flamewalls start to act up. Hans will not move from his position and his attack range is quite small. Just move as a group and keep defeating any enemy within your reach until you make it to the boss.

After wiping out Hans’ army, the next chapter will start immediately without giving you the chance to return to your castle.
