Traveler’s Plaza
When you pass by other players with Streetpass enabled, their avatar will appear in your castle’s Traveler’s Plaza. If you interact with your guest avatars, you can obtain the guest avatar’s calling card. You can check your collected calling cards in your Traveler’s Plaza’s bulletin board or by selecting Calling Cards in the Crystal Ball’s Visit Castle menu.
Lilith’s Temple
You can offer various food to Lilith to level her up and increase her stats. The type of food you give her will affect her growth. There will be times that her stat will no longer increase no matter how many times you feed her. You have to progress in the story to unlock the option to upgrade her temple and increase her stat cap. After every few levels, she’ll award you with gold bars which you can sell for gold.
Arena
In this facility, you can bet on resources on battles. If you win, you’ll get more resources. If you lose, you’ll lose what you’ve bet. Higher level arenas allow you to double the prize if you successfully cleared the round.
In the middle of battle, you can press X to yield (and wait for the decision to be applied) to end the battle prematurely and get back what you wagered. There will be times that this will be a one-on-one battle with the character assigned to the arena or a pair battle where you'll select the lead attacker while the other character becomes the support. Arena battles occur only once a day so you have to participate in other battles in order to move the time and trigger more arena battles.
Lottery
Here you can win random items and resources. You can play for free once a day, starting in the afternoon. The character on duty doesn’t have any bearing with the prizes or chances of winning. Upgrading this building will increase the quality of prizes.
Prison
Castle Battle Bonus Effect: Critical Hit Rate increased
Enemies that were captured/kidnapped by allied units with Capture or Kidnap abilities will be sent in this building. You can Release your prisoners, Persuade a foe to join you, or attempt to bribe the guard. The bribe cost will depend on the guard on duty. Also, your prison can only hold a certain number of captives. If your prison is full, you can't capture new enemies. Upgrading your prison increases the number of captives it can hold.
Records Hall
Castle Battle Bonus Effect: Decreases damage taken
Compatibility: You can use the Hubba Tester or Sage Match. Here you can pick two characters and see how they feel towards each other at the moment. The results doesn’t affect the story but the results can be hilarious.
Library: Unit Roster allows you to view your individual characters’ details including their birthdates. Ancient Texts will just display a list of… ancient texts.
Theater: You can rewatch all the unlocked movies or soundtracks.
Support Log: Allows you to replay the past support logs you have unlocked.
Statues
The default effect of these character statues is raising the cap of a stat of the subject character. Once upgraded, it also increases the same stat’s cap of the character’s C+ rank support partners and may even extend the effect to all your characters
Armory
This is your castle’s weapons shop. More weapon types will be stocked as you increase your armory's level. Depending on who’s running the store, you may get discounts on weapons that match his or her proficiencies. You can also sell items here.
Rod Shop
This shop sells staves, items, and seals. Depending on who’s running the store, you may get discounts on staves that match his or her proficiencies. You can also sell items here.
Accessory Shop
Castle Battle Bonus Effect: Critical evasion
You can buy accessories that can change how your characters look and grant bonuses when you’re in other castles. Accessories cost resources but prices may vary depending on who’s currently running the store. You can also try on the accessories and preview how they'll look like on your characters before actually buying them. These accessories can be seen during cutscenes (not the animated ones or the character portraits).
Sometimes when you talk to your party members, they’ll be concerned about how they look or if they need accessories. You can give them accessories you have in possession to increase your relationship with them. You can give them accessories equipped to another character and still get the relationship boost. Some accessories however (like the bath towel) will not give any boost.
Note: The localized version has fewer outfits as it only has the bath towel and Love swimsuits. You may see some of the removed swimsuits available in the JP version of the game in some sequences in the hot springs.
Smithy
This building enables you to upgrade your weapons, customize their names, erase their names, or swap ores. Forging weapons uses ores (see the Resource section below) and requires two of the same type of weapon. Upgraded weapons (with +1) require another weapon with +1 in order to be forged. The character on duty can lower the cost if he or she is proficient in the weapon being forged. You can only forge weapons belonging to your country in your Castle smithy. To forge weapons from the other country, you have to visit another player's smithy and forge it there.
Carving and Erasing names in weapons are only applicable to forged weapons. Finally, Ore Swap allows you to trade five ores of the same type to one different ore. It’s an expensive exchange but can help out a lot if you really need to forge a weapon.
Einherjar Shop
Castle Battle Bonus Effect: +10 Avoid to defenders in castle battlers.
Allows you to buy units from other worlds. Depending on who's running the shop, you can get discounts if you'll buy units with the same class as the current shopkeeper.
Mess Hall
Castle Battle Bonus Effect: Increased hit rate
This building allows the character on duty to make a dish based on the ingredient you choose. Their dishes provide stat boosts until the end of the next battle. On top of the bonuses given by the served dish, additional effects can be enjoyed by your party through the cook’s personal flair added to the dish. Take note that not all characters can cook and it’s also entertaining to read the reactions of your other party members who tried the dish.
