In this map, you have to defeat Iago and seize his throne. However, you have to fight your way through three turrets and a large number of enemies. There are forts along the way that you can occupy to bolster your troops’ defenses and heal at the same time. First, you have to clear the hill in the middle of the map so you can use the fire orb there against the rest of the enemy forces.
You can divide your forces to two if you want but make sure the bulk of them stays on the western side. Slowly push forward and h ave your most powerful units pair up with another character then let them take the lead. At the end of the enemy phase during the first turn, a lot of enemy reinforcements will appear from the forts on both sides. Just in time, Leo and Xander will appear to provide assistance. They are both powerful units even when alone but be careful not to put Leo on the frontline.
At the start of the third turn, four more allied units will arrive: Odin, Niles, Laslow, and Peri. With their arrival, you should be able to push forward better. However, don’t let your guard down; Leo and Xanders’ retainers aren’t as powerful as them at this point so you should be careful not place them carelessly in the field.
Aggro the enemies towards your position and start decimating their numbers one batch at a time. The enemy cavaliers have great movement range so let Xander or any of your powerful units to tank them. No more enemy reinforcements will appear for the rest of the battle so it’s pretty much a walk in the park here. Defeat Iago and seize the throne to complete the mission.
