The game starts by giving you a brief glimpse of the future, with an older Noctis fighting Ifrit alongside his friends. You don't have to do much of anything here yet, so just run up towards what appears to be the throne to trigger the next scene.

After which the timeline switches back to the present with more events that eventually completes the chapter, thereby earning you your first trophy for the game as well.
