Completing the first Collection requires the player to meet and learn about the X people in it. The following includes the Collections list proper plus the details, such as they are...

All of the people who make up the first Collection are encountered as part of regular game play through the story (offline campaign) mode; no special actions are required to meet them or add them to the Collection!

Ajay Ghale - A son of Kyrat who as lived in the West long enough to lose his sense of self. Our benevolent King Min himself seeks to educate this young man in the ways of his homeland and nurture him into a valued Kyrati citizen.

Encounter Notes: This is the Player-Character - YOU - so hey, meet yourself!

Amita - A vicious child of the North who has forsaken her home and taken up arms against Kyrat. Allied with Sabal, she forms the lumbering two-headed elephant at the head of the Golden Path. Considered armed and dangerous.

Bhadra - The weak-minded and superstitious Kyrati believe this young girl is the embodiment of the land, but their so-called Tarun Matara cannot bring her people the same glory that shines from Pagan Min.

Darpan - Behold the face of a terrorist. Darpan was one of the original members of The Golden Path insurgency and has devoted much of his life to befouling the vision Pagan Min has for our beloved Kyrat.

Hurk - An American buffoon whose fetish for the elephants of our beloved country has led him to enter our lands illegally. This barbarian has sided with the cursed Golden Path and should be considered armed and dangerously stupid.

Encounter Notes: Act I near the first Outpost.

Special Notes: Hurk is the subject of a DLC Expansion - he will appear in the game whether you have the DLC Expansion or not. The DLC Expansion is called Hurk's Redemption, and it comes free in the Limited Edition boxed copy of Far Cry 4.

Ishwari Ghale - A true victim, Ishwari Ghale was seduced by the wicked Mohan Ghale. Our beloved leader himself sough to save her from Mohan's grasp. Sadly, she fled to the United States rather than embrace Pagan Min's benevolence.

Encounter Notes: The mum of the protagonist. You carry her ashes with you in an urn. She is one of the first characters added to the Collection.

Kalinag - The story of the great warrior Kalinag and his journey into Shangri-La is one of the most beloved myths in Kyrat. Sadly, some citizens mistakenly believe this tale to be true. These poor deluded individuals cannot see that the only true hero they need is the glorious King Min.

Encounter Notes: When you find the first piece of the Shangri-La painting you get to play as this mythical character briefly.

Lakshmana - The Ministry of Social Harmony has officially named Lakshmana as a child martyr who was snatched away from the arms of her father far before her time. She will be loved and remembered forever.

Encounter Notes: Your deceased half-sister whose ashes are in the Shrine you are attempting to reach in order to place your mother's ashes.

Longinus - This religious zealot is a dangerous provocateur who profits from our glorious country's struggles. He claims to be “born again” but do not believe him. He is a murderer, smuggler of contraband, and known supporter of the Golden Path.

Encounter Notes: During Act I, when you obtain his first mission.

Mohan Ghale - The Ministry of Social Harmony has deemed Mohan Ghale an official agitator of the peace. Ghale founded the treacherous Golden Path and actively sought to assassinate our beloved leader, Pagan Min.

Encounter Notes: Your deceased father. You learn about him early on - he is one of the first characters collected.

Noore Najjar - Noore's maternal instinct for all Kyrat knows no bounds, be they man or beast. Like a mother eagle watching her nest, she would do anything to protect her children and keep them from evil. Visit Shanath Arena and witness her benevolence first hand.

Encounter Notes: Met during Act II, this is the woman who runs the arena who nearly gets you killed.

Pagan Min - Our great and glorious King who has risked his life and limb to bring Kyrat out of the past. He sacrifices everything for his adopted homeland and loves its people like his own children. May Pagan's light shine upon you all.

Encounter Notes: Met during the Prologue as he gets off of his Blackhawk.

Paul 'De Pleur' Harmon - Inspired by the plight of Kyrat, Governor Harmon fell in love with our people and customs. He has abandoned his American homeland to spend time here, wanting nothing more than to find a peace in the South through brave negotiations with the Golden Path terrorists.

Encounter Notes: Met during the Prologue; host of the dinner.

Reggie & Yogi - These two outsiders are guests of Noore, and therefore guests of King Min. Allowing them to reside in Kyrat is an act of unimaginable kindness. Their gratitude can be seen on their faces each and every day.

Encounter Notes: During Act II, this pair of stoners are squatting in your family home.

Sabal - Sabal is a southern Kyrati and the other head of the lumbering elephant that is the Golden Path; he pulls one way while Amita pulls the other, threatening to tear Kyrat apart in the process. Information leading to his capture will be rewarded handsomely.

The Golden Path - Treacherous sons and daughters of Kyrat who call themselves proud citizens as they take up arms against the King and force their fellow citizens to join their pathetic rebellion. They are terrorists and enemies of the Crown.

The Royal Army - Selfless citizens with hearts that love peace, and minds fixed on the glory of Kyrat. The cruel and bloodthirsty Golden Path forced them to take up arms against their countrymen and women. Join today and do your part for Kyrat.

The Royal Guard - Brave foreigners and fearsome soldiers who have left their families to answer the King's call. Kyrat has adopted them as her own because she knows that her best interests are in their hearts. May Pagan's light shine upon them all.

The Sherpa - Businessman, wanderer, and swindler, this man is known simply as “The Sherpa.” He travels all across Kyrat, selling second-rate wares and contraband, and has no qualms supplying The Golden Path with equipment. Be wary of his ways.

Willis Huntley - Beware of this foreign spy. He is personally responsible for inciting insurrection and strife wherever he goes. This Willis Huntley has traveled around the world and left behind nothing but a trail of death and tears.

Yuma Lau - Pagan's loyal right hand and governor of the elite Royal Guard, she brings her expertise in human nature and psychology to heal the scars of all Kyrati through kindness and understanding.
