Published by SuperCheats Staff on Sep 2nd 2013
When changing 3DS systems, System Transfer enables you to transfer the download content and system information from one 3DS to another. System transfer can only be used 5 times, so take time to be sure if you really want to do the transfer.

How to Transfer Systems

  1. Select System Settings and choose Other Settings.

  2. Head to page 3 and choose System Transfer on both systems. The device will then connect to the internet.

  3. Select Transfer from 3DS then choose "Agree".

  4. The system will then display how many transfers are remaining and confirm if you want to perform the transfer. Choose "Yes".

  5. On the original 3DS, select Send from This System. For the new 3DS, select Receive from Nintendo 3DSThe system will now transfer and restart.

  6. After the system restarts, transfer the memory card from the original 3DS to the new 3DS. You also have the option of transferring data to a memory card with higher capacity if you have yet to do so.
