How to Scan QR codes using the 3DS

The 3DS can utilize the convenience of QR codes as 3DS owners can use it to download new Miis, new content and many more. Here's how you use your 3DS camera to scan a QR code.

From your Home menu, press either L or R to launch the camera

Press the QR code icon in the bottom left corner of the camera screen.

Align the square in the upper screen in the QR code you want to scan. For this instance, try scanning on the image below:

Once the code is scanned, you'll get a message on the screen confirming it. The image above is a Nintendo eShop QR code. You'll be asked if you want to launch the eShop after getting the code.
