Date of Question: Apr 11 2006 | Question ID: 53244 I just got halo2 this year, and I think Im really good ,but every time I play my friends I get whooped. If you have any advice please tell me. |
Well, there are many ways.But the one I think is most effective is the SMG and PLASMA PISTOL duel wield.First, charge the pistol, then shoot your enemy with the pistol charge shot & right after, blow the crap out of your enemys with the SMG!!But that is only one.Also,...try to keep in the shadows or well hidin,they can't shoot what they can't see!

Well everyone has a strenth, and a weakness in the game, and I mean everybody. Like if your freind is good at sniping, he sucks at close range weapons like energy swords. My strenth is bassically long, and close range, but I suck at mid-range. Try to find your strenth, and look out for your weakness. Send feedback please! Thank u!

When you are in combat with your friends just remember not to let them find you.. Watch thier screen and suprise them by throwing a plasma grenade on them or something..

First of all, to make sure you dodge rockets, make sure you see where it's goin first. Then, if it's going a different way, youll know.if it's headed at you, then jump the heck out of the way. Also, I suggest you dual wield needlers and shoot a LOT of needles in their face

Do not ever stop moving and jumping. Get a Brute Shot and melee your friends right square in the back (it will say something about Assassinated -sp?) and it will kill them in one hit, then grab any good weapons (but keep the Brute Shot!) and move on.

Ok...so you should practice with your sniper all the time...then whenever you play with you're fwens..you should be able to woop dem...dats what I do and I am a level 30 on xbox live..so I'm pretty decent

As all the others said DONT STOP MOVEING!!! Youll get shot down.Always keep a rocket launcher and a shotgun by your side (thats my best combo) and when the other person gets into a hog,tank,or banshee lock on with a rocket launcher and when they lock onto you swearve like crazy,and do tricks if your in a banshee.
p.s I'm really good at halo so listen to me.

Try to relax, plus don't over due yourself that only create havak, this will then prepare you to understand the movement of the player, when you have mastered that you have basicly created yourself. When the time comes you will be able to turn duck jump and anticipate what the next move or your opponents next stragety is.

Now all that advice is good. But there are certain things that were left out... Throw grenades... All you have, when facing an opponent, even if it is across the map, just throw one. Sooner or later you will be able to hit any moving targets with a grenade. Another is mastering the sword... When attacking someone who has another, sidestep to the right or left right when you have the crosshair turn red, this will cause the attacker to fly past you, then you can finish him off. And I'm surprised I havent seen and plasma pistol/br combos... Thats another good one. And then the basic stuff... Shoot rockets at ground by enemy, unzoom when sniping in uncertain areas, look around at all times, and never 'team up' with someone who isnt actually on your team.

Im probably not as good as the dudes on x box live but I'm unbeatable to my mates, when ever you shoot someone aim for the head this will take them out quiker,when ever you play your mates on a big map try to get weopons like battle rifles and rocket launchers and when your on a small map use swords and shotguns.
