Can you play this game in co-op mode with more than 2 players

No you can not I've tried on numerous occasions.

No, me and my friends have tried in the past, but two is the maximum, itd be alot funner if you could, but alas two is what they made it, hope I helped

You can if you play vs. Each other but you can't in campaign.

Playing split screen, up to four people can play, but in Co-op campaign mode, only two people can play. Same goes for Xbox live.
