Either swtch it with a new weapon, or get some ammo for your weapon.
Either way, you can't drop your weapon.

Yes you can! The last person was wrong! If you go on Xbox Live or split screen and set the game as oddball you can! I'll tell you how...
You can only have a plasma pistol. NO OTHER GUNS! Charge up the plasma pistol and run over the oddball,when it says "Press X to pick up oddball" and you will not pick up the oddball but drop the Pistol. Note: if you run over ANY weapon you will pick it up you will have to kill yourself to get a P pistol HOPE IT HELPED!

You can only drop a weapon when you are dual-weilding. If you press B then you will only have one gun instead of the two that you had before.
