Rune Types

 
Runes are special add-ons that you can equip to your characters to enhance their stats. You can only equip up to 6 runes at a time to a character. Rune slots are divided to three colored pairs: red for offensive runes, blue for defensive runes, and green for support runes.



Rune Seals are the symbols embedded on the runes themselves and determines what set bonus you’ll get for equipping a certain number of runes bearing the same symbols together in a character. (See the Rune Set Bonus page for the complete list of these bonuses). Furthermore, seals determine the rune’s “identity” or primary effect.



So, what runes should you equip? To maximize the boosts for a particular character, you’ll have to fill all slots. What you need to focus however, is getting the Rune Set Bonus that should further enhance your character’s class or type. Refer to the next page for more details.

Red Offense Runes
While the stat bonuses for each rune may vary, the stat bonuses from red offense runes are geared towards damage boosts, critical strike chance and damage, accuracy, and HP increase.



Blue Defense Runes
As the name implies, these runes are geared towards defense boosts like DEF up, HP increase, additional HP recovery. You can also find certain blue runes that boosts attack, multistrike and counterattack chance.



Green Support Runes
These runes have the largest variety of stat bonuses and effects. Their primary stat boost is increasing the character’s max HP while also giving auxiliary bonuses like additional HP recovery, accuracy, counterattack, evasion, attack, critical chance, multistrike, and many more.
