You can pay Gold to shuffle and choose an opponent you want to find. Target teams that you have elemental advantage over, those with considerably lower combat rating, or without problematic characters such as high-leveled and purple-starred Esna, Abel, Verdandi, Cain, etc. Who knows, you might even get a chance to fight “giveaway” or “free win” teams such as the one shown above.
Avoid auto-battle when in the arena. While auto-battle will work early on, you’ll have to manually order your team’s skill activation to take out priority targets and prevent your team from wasting valuable Skills and heals at critical moments.
Arena battles are not real-time. That said, take your time to analyze your opponents’ skills if you want and when you make your moves.
Always take out the healers first. Most of the healers in the game have access to resurrection skills and group heals, especially limit-broken heroes and with purple stars. Once a healer is gone, the whole team will collapse shortly after.
As much as possible, focus on having a dedicated PVP team with talents specifically for increasing damage dealt and reducing damage taken in the Arena. You also need to ensure that your PVP team gets limit-broken to LV60 to access to their second passive skills. Getting purple stars on your main PVP team will take a long while since LV4 above purple stars will require several SR and SSR advent characters.
If an arena match reaches over 50 turns, both teams attacks will get boosted in order to end the match quicker. When that happens, the team with the best survivability and offense will prevail.
Stick to single or dual-element Team Composition that will allow all members to benefit from your leader’s skills.
Fighting in the arena is one of the daily tasks. You don’t need to win so if you’re just after the daily task’s completion, just enter a battle and abandon it. Take note however, than abandoning a fight is counted as a loss. You’ll lose Arena Points and may even be demoted.
