Chapter 7: Breaking & Entering

Chapter 7

The chapter begins with both group of heroes - Superman's alliance and Batman's insurgency - meeting in an underground warehouse. Batman secretly gives the next mission to Firestorm (though all overhear), which is to find and restore Brother Eye. Unfortunately, however, they must first go to the Arkham Asylum to execute doing this. But since Cyborg's tech isn't able to teleport him there after his recent fight with Firestorm and Blue Beetle, he, as well as Harley Quinn and Catwoman, must all head to the Asylum on foot.

Poison Ivy is waiting for the three grouped misfits as they arrive, gassing Quinn with pheromones to deceive her into fighting either (your choice) of Cyborg or Catwoman. Immediately after defeat Quinn, you will be allowed to fight the person who did this to her, Poison Ivy herself. Be victorious once again in this battle outside the Asylum, and you'll be able to save Quinn from dying from the gasses.

After which, the three resume their journey which leads them to the Batcave with Brother Eye inside. Quinn decides to keep guard as you arrive, as Cyborg and Catwoman will quickly find both Bane and Deadshot inside waiting to fight them. Whoever you select to fight with will go into battle with Bane, as your partner takes care of Deadshot off-screen. With those two defeated, the two can finally reach Brother Eye.

However, as they approach Bruce Wayne's supercomputer, the two meet Brainiac for the first time, who is actually very complimentary to Cyborg. The only problem Brainiac can see of Cyborg, which he strongly disapproves: Cyborg's humanity. With this comes Brainiac's scheme of freeing his all-machine version of Cyborg from himself, a version that is called Grid. This perfect version of Cyborg is the last opponent of the chapter, and whichever character you don't choose to do the battle with (though Cyborg seems like the right pick for the overall storyline) will restore Brother Eye's backup generators.

After taking out Brainiac's perfect version of Cyborg, this unofficially remodeled version of the Justice League will receive back Brother Eye. Brainiac cursing the heroes, swearing that they will never be able to stop his invasion, that they will never be able to take down his systems, that they will never be able to defeat him. Evacuations can now beginning before the heroes can launch their offenses against Brainiac.
