Basic Character Roster

Injustice 2 launches with a 28-character playable roster comprised of both DC Comics' most notable figures and a number of relatively obscure fan favorites, including both new and returning heroes and villains. These 28 characters are preloaded with any edition of Injustice 2, so whether you go with a much cheaper version and whether you pre-order the game or buy it days after its release, you will also get these given characters no matter the case.

Many factors influenced the selection process for this most basic character roster for Injustice 2, including the character's lore, personalities, fighting style, popularity among fans, and just how well they would play and service the main storyline. Since the original version of Injustice contained virtually all the famous faces of the DC Universe, the creators of Injustice 2 wanted to include a number of other, more obscure figures to enhance gameplay and separate itself from its predecessor.
