Beginning
The story of Injustice 2 begins with a quick cut scene of long ago - something that is being used more and more in modern day video games - with Supergirl running from Brainiac's Army on her home of Argo City, a very small place that once survived the destruction of Kyrpton. However, the entire city is now destroyed, most obviously by Brainiac himself. But before the entirety of the planet is sent into ruin, Supergirl escapes with the help of her mother, along with Superman himself. Unfortunately, space debris causes trouble and eventually knocks Supergirl's ship far off its original trajectory. The title of the game then flashes on the screen.
