Part III: The Lost Boys

Thank you for printing this page from www.SuperCheats.com. Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff

Last Updated:

Please bear in mind that this is a new game, and a new guide - we are writing this guide as we play the game, so the newest section of the guide represents the place we are actually at in the game. As omniscience is not one of the skills with which we are gifted, we can only include the content that we have experienced ourselves.

Yes, we are aware that there are other objects, Outfits, missions, quests, and events that exist in the game, and we have not intentionally left out those contents in the game guide - we just have not experienced them, and as a result, we don't include them here because this guide is written from facts.

Thanks for your patience as we proceed in creating the Unofficial SuperCheats Guide to Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff!

Part 3: Introduction

This next section begins with the unlocking of the School District Zone.... Hopefully you put a major dent into the land expansion in the previously unlocked zones - if not it would be an idea to focus on that side of the game for a bit...

Otherwise it is time to open a new Zone!

The basic strategy for this new section and District is to restore the High School, and then help Joe Swanson so that you fully unlock him and add him to your game.

Next you will want to focus upon adding the newly unlocked Buildings and structures, with particular focus on the Playground that will add Herbert the child molester to your game, as well as the supporting builds for the different quests -- like the Tiny Tots Preschool, the Junior High, and the like. There is also Herbert's house to be built.

Once you have managed all that you will want to focus on spending some time strategically leveling up the Characters you now have in your crew, with special attention to the newer ones since they will be of much lower level than the older ones.

It would be an idea to try to level Quagmire and Lois at least to the point that you have unlocked all of their Outfits so that you can begin the arduous task of collecting all of the different resources that are required for the construction of those Outfits...

Considering that a lot of the extended Tasks are locked up in those Outfits the sooner you can do that the better, since it expands your Task selection and, obviously, the breadth of the Quests available in the game.

The Lost Boys

The name-sake Mission series dedicated to the events that unlocked this new District, The Lost Boys covers more than just a new area, it also addresses the nearly-feral group of children who survived the disaster and roamed the streets of what was left of Quahog prior to its restoration.

The Lost Boys Pt. 1

Peter enters the School District to look for Joe... To complete this Quest you need to do the following:

1. Enter the School District

2. Clear the Block

Completing this Quest also rewards you with $200 and 130 XP.

In addition to the above steps the act of opening this new District / Zone also adds the following to your game:

  • Herbert's Ice Cream Truck

  • Goth Chris Outfit

Creating the Goth Chris Outfit requires the following resources:

  • x5 Eye Shadow

  • x5 Hair Spray

  • x5 CD's

  • x5 Heavy Metal Beams

Check the Resources Guide in the Reference Section for the actions / locations for these, or access the Outfit in the Build Menu at Al Harrington's Outfitters in order to see which Tasks you can do in order to obtain each!

New Land Expansion

In addition to the above and the requirement for you to clear the first Land Expansion Section in which the School is located, there are three more Land Expansions to be cleared for this District -- clearing the first three will take 8 hours each and cost you in-game coin, the final one takes 10 hours and costs $5,000 coin.

Generally speaking it is considered a good idea for you to make sure that ALL of the new Land Expansion Sections are cleared BEFORE you unlock the next District / Zone. Just saying. If you have not yet cleared all of the Land Expansion Sections from the previous Districts, it would be a good idea to work on that too because right now you don't need a lot of free land but soon you will.

Remember that this IS a Quest Line -- you will notice that once you begin it, the "Lost Boys" in the form of feral children are added to your town and they cannot be removed and cured until you Progress this Quest Line!

Helpful Hint #8

As you work towards the Land Expansion and adding the new sections to your town bear in mind that opening up this newest District ALSO expanded the various structures and builds you now have available, which includes the following:

  • Anal Point $3,000

  • Buddy Cianci Junior High $3,500

  • Herbert's House $1,250

  • Herbert (in the Playground) $2,500

  • Joe (in James Woods High School)

  • Tiny Tots Preschool $2,500

Al Harrington's Outfitters

In addition to the above structures and builds, you also have the following Outfits that you have either completed creating -- or you should be actively working towards completing!

  • Pee Pee Pants the Inebriated Clown (Peter)

  • Hooker Peter (Peter)

  • Long John Peter (Peter)

  • Goth Chris (Chris)

  • Speedo Quaqmire (Glenn)

At this point in the game you should have at a minumum the following Outfits unlocked and completed:

  • Golden Suit Peter (Peter)

  • Tweaked Out Peter (Peter)

There are additional Outfits -- two for Quagmire and one for Lois -- that you cannot work towards yet due to the need to level those Characters. For Glenn he needs to be at Level 5 and 7 respectively, and Lois needs to reach Level 5 for hers.
