Welcome to the official Valentine's Day Event for Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff! An action-packed event full of special missions and quests - and new Valentine's themed objects.

If you are still in the process of completing the Mission lines from the previous two events (Christmas and New Year's) no worries mates, they will peacefully co-exist with this new one.

Turbo Mode

IF you are a Premium player and IF you have the Clams to burn and IF you are not content to sit back and allow the game to take its normal and time-burning course, you DO have an option available to you!

One of the splash screens that you will see when logging into the game during the Valentine's Event is a screen titled "Homemade Valentines" that points out to you that you do not have to wait and tap for a day or so just to get enough Homemade Valentines Cards to get the event started - you can PAY to do it.

The Homemade Valentines Splash Screen details two Premium Structures that you can buy to hurry the process up - and those are:

1. Pigeon Delivery Service (250C)

This structure is called the Pigeon Delivery Service - and costs 250 Clams... It is a Premium Structure that delivers an initial chunk of Homemade Valentine's Cards (during the Event) as well as a regular amount of both cards and XP over time.

Specifically it delivers 30 XP and 300 Cards every 8h.

2. Pedigree Kitten's Delivery Service (600C)

This structure is called the Pedigree Kitten's Delivery Service - and costs 600 Clams... It is a Premium Structure that delivers an initial chunk of Homemade Valentine's Cards (during the Event) as well as a regular amount of both cards and XP over time.

Specifically it delivers 40 XP and 1000 Cards every 12h.

Getting the Event Rolling

You may have noticed that just getting the event started requires you to purchase the Gazebo - which costs 200 Homemade Cards - as the core element for the first or opening Quest and Mission.

That having been noted and explained, if you are a Premium Player well, buying one of these actually makes a twisted bit of sense! If you are NOT a Premium Player - if you, like most of the rest of us - prefer to play the game without spending stacks of real-world money, you can safely ignore this.

Missions and Quests

As is the case for all of the Special and Holiday Events this one comes with its own set of special missions and quests - bearing in mind that it happens to arrive at a time during which most of the QfS Community has been hovering as they build bank and XP towards capping each of the supporting Characters as well as seek to unlock all of the available Land Expansion Slots.

Let's be honest here - this Holiday Event could not have arrived at a more inopportune time when we factor that so much effort and time has gone into building up a warchest to fund the various expansions, as well as working towards fulfilling the requirements for the leftover missions and quests from what was a truly massive set of holiday event content that joined last year and this.

So, that noted, we shall endure and Progress because that is what we do!

The Beautiful People

The opening act for this new Holiday Event is aptly named - because everyone is beautiful when Valentines Day comes around. Just saying...

The Beautiful People Pt. 1

In a not-so-subtle way Lois has reminded Peter that (a) Valentines Day is approaching, and (b) she is expecting at the least a nice card from him (though our advice to Peter is to include some really nice candy and some flowers as well)...

The driving force behind this year's romantic event are Homemade Valentines and the Affection Meter, the latter being how you judge just how well you are doing...

As this is a major Holiday Event the temporary events staging area at the top center of town has been activated, with event-specific resources and Buildings having been deployed there.

Completing this Quest also awards you with x25 Homemade Valentines Cards.

The Beautiful People Pt. 2

Perhaps the balance between those who remember to get gifts and those who do not is a bit unfairly out of whack, but then again it is not like Peter's foibles are any surprise to Lois, right?

Ignore that for now - that is not the purpose for this Quest - the purpose for this one is to get you familiar with the Affection Meter!

The Beautiful People Pt. 3

Thanks to Quagmire focusing his attention in that direction, Peter feels the need to get rid of all of the gross PDA couples!

2. Shoo 5 Enamored Couples

Basically there are two types for this task - Fighting and Enamored Couples... Which type they turn out to be has a direct impact on your Affection Meter - just so you know.

Clams and Muscles

This is partly a PREMIUM Mission so if you plan to complete it to the point where you will receive the big payoff - which is the new character of The Governator himself, Arnold, you WILL be required to spend some premium currency to at least the tune of 250 Clams.

That said, this is one of the special features of the holiday.

Note: During the event getting this part unlocked required that you first completed the Beautiful People missions - but if you did NOT, and the event ends, you can STILL obtain Arnold by spending the 250C in the In-Game Store.

This Quest is started by Chris and sparks the Arnold portion of the Mission...

1. Build Arnolds Gym (6h / 250 Homemade Valentines)

2. Have Chris Work Out (4h / 20 Homemade Valentines)

Note that this is the Premium lockout point. If you choose to spend the Clams you can continue on from here - if you choose not to, this is as far as you go.

Pride and Benedict

While the Arnold Premium Mission really stood out for most players as THE best part of this event, the other half (and we suspect that includes most of the female players) found THIS to be THE special bit for this event. Why? Because it adds Benedict Cumberbatch to Quahog!

That's right - we are talking the Cumberbitch Army - the... Well you get the idea.

Pride and Benedict Pt. 1

Peter starts this Mission.

1. Get Benedict his M-otter-cycle (Cost = 200 Clams)

Bear in mind that THIS is the Premium Trigger for this part of the event... If you are willing to spend the 200C on this character you can continue this Mission and its quests. If not, then not.
