An Introduction to the QfS Walkthrough

Whether you are just getting started in the land of Quahog or you have been playing since Day 0, most of the information we share with you in this Introduction will be useful and on-point!

So before we do anything else we need to address what we think of as the temporal aspects of the game...

Things that Don't Work

Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is a new game. As such, and while it was launched in fully playable form at least in terms of the primary game play mechanics, there are elements to the game that were not fully working when it was launched, including but certainly not limited to the Inventory System, the Marketplace, the Social Network, and Achievements (just to name a few).

As the game matures each of the core systems will be tweaked, polished, and restored or rolled out depending upon just how incomplete they were/are!

For that reason coverage of some aspects of the game and play in the WTG may feel a bit raw -- that is why.

The Stuff that Does Work

Fortunately the launch of QfS and its first few months of game play appear to be much more solid and functional than other games we have played, particularly other mobile titles in the Free-2-Play genre!

That said, and despite some of the core information systems not appearing to be fully functional, the game play mechanics in the game ARE fully functioning, and functioning as intended, and that is good news indeed because it means that all of the effort that you put into leveling your town and your Characters is effort you will get to retain the results of.

The WTG Focus

When we set out to cover a new game and create its guide that process includes determining the focus -- the raison d'ĂȘtre if you will -- and in the case of Quest for Stuff that focus is to help you play and find success while spending the bare minimum in real-world money while doing it!

That's right, we are not claiming that this guide will allow you to play the game without spending a dime because such a claim will be impossible to support if you are going to obtain the maximum pleasure and entertainment that the game has to offer.

That said, we can promise you that we will help you to obtain that entertainment value and pleasure while spending as little as humanly possible, and at the same time pass on to you the Tips, tricks, and secrets that we uncover that will multiply that pleasure and entertainment.

Simply stated, we have your back!

Now go! Play! Enjoy! Be Entertained! And Cheers for being part of our guide and its community and the game!
