How can you duplicate Pokemon on red??? Please help ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

ANSWERS

The same way as in Pokemon Blue.
(This is optional!) Talk to the Old Guy in Viridian City that shows you how to catch Pokemon.
You put your item that you wish to duplicate into the sixth spot relative to the top one (first).
Then surf along the East coast of Cinnabar Island. When I mean coast, I mean you have positioned yourself in such a way that your Pokemon is appearing to be half on the "beach" as it were and half in the sea.

Here is what you do, it is similar to what you do to catch Missingo. Go to Viridian City, and talk to the old guy, tell him to show you how to catch a Pokemon. After he gets done showing you how to catch Pokemon, fly to Cinnibar Island and surf on the right side of the Island. You should be surfing so that you are on the water, but it looks like you are surfing on the edge of the Island. Stay on that line, and do not leave, it might take some time. If you have a free slot in your party, and you have the Pokemon that you want to clone in the sixth spot in your party, then you are good to go. That is how you clone a pokemon.

Oh, I forgot to add this. When you are surfing, run if it is a normal water pokemon. If it is a Pokemon above level 100, capture it, some Pokemon can be on level 338. But, if it is a land Pokemon, then kill it, and when you check in your party, you should have two of the same pokemon. If not, try again.

You do it the same way you do in Pokemon blue. The Missingo cheat. But to dulpicate you need a spot in your party.

Well, you need: 2 Gameboys/Gameboy Colors

2 Copies of Pokemon Red/Blue

1 Link Cable

1: Trade
2: Just before it says "TRADE COMPLETE" Turn off the power.
3: Each person should have a duplicate of the Pokemon you traded.
