Question for Pokemon Red
Ok, I need help I'm in the town with the SS ANNE and I missed the boat I stepped out real quick and it took off.
I don't think there is anywhere left to go except these gaurds that blocked the road but I THINK I NEED TO TAKE THE SHIP TO GET A soda.
Tell me please what I do from here. Help is greatly appreciated thank you.

The boat probably left because you exited the ship after you got cut. You do not need to visit the ship anyway unless you want to visit the hidden truck near the ship (need surf).

The SS Anne probably took off because you received HM1 Cut from the captain.
Since you now have cut go back to Cerulean City and use cut on the bush in the eastern part of town that leads to Rock Tunnel.
Once you get through and arrive in Lavender Town go west and take the underground path towards Celadon City.
Once there go to the department store and take the elevator to the 5th floor and then take the stairs to the rooftop square, there buy 2 fresh waters, 1 soda pop, and one 1 lemonade.
Give one of each to the little girl there to receive three TMs then go all the way down to the 1st floor and exit the store.
Head east towards Saffron City and enter the house with the guard and he will automatically will take the water from you and letting you pass through all of the other guards.

after u find surf in the secret house in safari zone and defeated the gym leader you use surf to go to cinnabar island

Lol, why would you need to ride a big ship around the world just to get a drink for the guards? You get the drink at the top of the Celdon City staore, on the roof, by purchasing one from the vending machine. Then you hand it in to a guard.
The ship left because you recieved Cut...

If you want soda then just go to Celdon City and the ship left because you got cut,after you get cut you don't need to go back on the ship.
