Date of Question: Jun 18 2007 | Question ID: 88599 I have had the game for many years now and do not use it much but I was board the other day so I decided to start a new game on my red version. I got up to the Ship in Vermilion City and saw water at the side so I decided not to get on but to do the game without going on the ship so I swapped some Pokemon from my blue version with Cut, Fly, Flash Etc. I defeated the gym leader so that I could use Surf so I went back and Surfed to the side of the Ship and found a bit of land on both side I also found a Van. Is this for anything special or is it just a Van and can I find anything else around that area?

There is a myth that if you have a lv 1oo Golem, Nidoking or Machamp that knows strength it can move the truck and underneath there will be a poke ball containing a Mew this is not true the truck serves no purpose and we can assume it was put there by the creators to annony people like you and me

That is one of the craftiest myths ever. Supposedly Mew is under the van. Hes not tho so don't waste your time thinking about it. Those tricky Nintendo creators
