Jolteon, know pin missle, bug type, only thing that will kill psychic in that game, which is good to have, and for your party, Gyarados- water move(your choice), ice beam, hyper beam, thunderbolt, Mewtwo- pyschic, recover, blizzard/icebeam, and thunderbolt/amniesa Snorlax- body slam, hyperbeam, rest, and anything you want, it would be good to have surf, if it was gold deffinatly snore, but it's not, Arcaine-flamethrower, dragon range, hyper beam, anything else you want, mayb toxic if you have no clue, Zapados- drill peck, thunder/thunderbolt, and anything else you want to teach it, and eggsacutar, haha, pyschic, sleep powder, solarbeam, egg bomb

The starting 6 I recommend is Mewtwo, Raichu, Aerodactyl, Haunter (pref. Evolve it to a Gengar), Dragonite, and Moltres.
As for the female Nidoran, they are well easy! I must have about 5 females and 1 male (I was drunk ok..... Leave me alone.....) but the males are actually harder to catch.
Suggestions for your Eevee..... Now I have been told a glitch but I can't remember it. It has something to do with Bill. You do summat or other and you end up with 4 Eevees. Then expose 1 to a firestone, 1 to a water stone, and 1 to a thunderstone. Now you have all 3. I'm not sure if it works, but hey give it a shot!

About Nidoran.
In red: Males are easy to find but females are hard to find.
In blue: Females are easy to find but males are hard to find.
They appear at the same places as each other. One of the two genders are more uncommon in different versions (red/blue) however.
Look in those places you mentioned. You should find a nidoran that you want soon enough.

How to get a girl nidoran
Get a boy nidoran and trade it at the bottom of cerulean city in the basement to go to vermilion city.

Pss : it depends , if you want it to learn hydro pump at level 51
Vaporeon is best , if you want it to learn thunder at level 51 jolteon
Is best , if you want it to learn fire spin and flame thrower flareon is best
