Pokemon Red Questions

Well, I know I sound like a loser for asking this, but...
<BR>Is there any sure-fire way of catching a Tauros? I mean, I know you can get them in the Safari Zone. I've seen them and tried catching them, but they always break loose and run. If I throw bait, it says I "Missed the Pokemon". If I throw a rock, the Pokemon runs. Urgh, please. I need help.
<BR>Also, where the heck do I find a Jynx?! I've searched far and wide, but I have founf no Jynx, and no one who is willin to trade. By the way, although you should know this anyway, I'm using the Red version.

1.Just keep trying to catch Tauros,tgeres no special way to catch t,you just have to be lucky to catch it.

2.I think you have to trade with a friend to get him.

1. Theres a cheat so you can catch safari Pokemon out in the ocean: ok, go into safari zone, go in the grass area where you find tarous, then let time run out, but when it runs out make sure your in the grass where tarous is, then go back in, take one step in, NOT in any grass, or just turn around, tell them your going to leave early, then have some repels, go below fushia city, surf, use the repels and don't get in ANY Pokemon battles, not even w/ trainers, then keep surfin till you get to sea foam islands, where articuno is, go off on to the land there, don't go inside the place, let the repel ware off if it's still on, then go on into the water again there and surf along the edge of seafoam islands(the side you came in on) and keep surfing only along the edge, the wild Pokemon you find should be that safari zone area of grass Pokemon, you'll eventually find tarous and have a real battle w/ out bait and rocks, and you should be able to catch him
2.have to have a poliwhirl(not poliwarth, nor poliwag, but poliwhril) and go to cerulean city and trade w/ the guy in the house next to the Pokemon center(where you get bulbasaur in yellow, if you know what I'm talking bout?) and if not there then hes in pewter city in a house somewhere in there, but i'm pretty sure hes in curlean in that house

If you want to get jynx go to fuscha and go into the house with the man that will give you a fishing rod after that go into his back yard use the rod in the pond until you run into a poliwag & catch it then go to cerulean city you will see 2 houses go into the 1 farthest to the left go in &and tal to the man he will ask if you wantto trade a poliwag for a jynx say yes and there you go I suggest that you raise poliwag to a higher level Lv:38 you should get the jynx at the same level Lv:38
